Is this really a 350Z site?
My data is derived from the first page returned from the "New Post" link three days in a row as it shows in the other thread.
Back on topic,
Has anyone looked at this stuff? The second link is better as it shows an example of what to do about half way down the thread.

How do i stop a forums new threads/posts from being displayed on the "New Post" page?
Update the template navbar, find the getnew string and at the end add &exclude=x where x matches the forumid you want to exclude from the results.

I wouldn't go as far as to say it is just for him since I would like it too. I do not think that it is unreasonable to make the ability to hide certain forums from the new post link. If it can be done with a reasonable amount of effort, I say do it. I am not totally against OT but, at times I find the posts there irritating to put it mildly. If it makes the site better, we all benefit.

In any case Kyle is looking into a way to accomplish this without excluding x forums for all users.
IMO all this is ridiculous and the more we bicker about this the more non-sense it creates and takes the fun about us talking about the Z or even just wanting to come on here and bs to talk with the friends weve made on here. So I vote that the moderator lock this thread up cuz no good will come from this thread. Good day to all

I just go through each individual forum and read what I want.
I've noticed that in any site I go to, Off-Topic is usually the most active. That includes three 350z sites and two Prelude sites. I'm sure other sites like Honda-Tech VWVortex, and Nasioc are the same.

Looking at the vbulletin forum link I posted above I wondered what would happen if I just added the &exclude to the new post link
https://my350z.com/forum/search.php?do=getnew
I came up with
https://my350z.com/forum/search.php?...120,67,317,434 << this is much longer than shown here, hover over it and look in the status bar.
I took out all the off topic stuff I don't normally read but left in NorCal because that is my second home.
If anyone is interested in making their own new post search just hover over the forum and look in the status bar to find its number
For instance Northern California is
https://my350z.com/forum/northern-california-26/
26 is the number, just add that to the link above and now you wont see NorCal either.
Thanks to all those who were helpful,
Chris
