How long does a PM take to get to the receipient?

How long does a PM take to get to the receipient?
Just wondering what is the time lag b/w sender & receipient, if any.

Should be rather instant. Once it's sent, the PM should be in the recipient's box. The email notification (if the account is setup for email notifications) should go out within the same timeframe as well.

if he click on "cancel" of the notification feature then it will show as unread but he actually read it already.
