Thanks, I know.

But if someone would want to abuse that function, he wouldn't turn it off of course...

I'm a newb here, and I don't get the least bit offended if someone calls me one. Now there are always going to be the occassional people who enjoy nothing more than unnecessarily aggravating others, I think the forum staff here are clamping down on that.

I strongly agree that some noobs were unfairly ripped a new a*hole. But there is a miriad of threads where the flamee in question is actually bringing the heat on himself...

EXAMPLE 1: defending one's imaginary web-honor and getting ripped a new one:

https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....hlight=sponser

EXAMPLE 2: bragging/defending one's recklessness/idiocy and getting ripped a new one:

Thread was something to the effect of "...me and my friends were doing sum donuts in parking lot, ran from security and crashed..."

I have posted crap myself on quite a few ocasions and did get flamed. I do realize that I had it coming and I am mentally stable enough not to get upset over what some stangers think of me.

But for argument's sake, I'll agree with the mods. Let us just forward them the dumb thread links and have them shovel the digital manure. Within a week they will get tired and everything will go back to as it was before...

P.S. Please don't flame or ban me for this one.

Rather than flaming those that you consider below yourself for asking the "stupid" questions, you should be trying to help educate them and bring them up to your own level.
You know alot of the users here think there **** don't stick cause they drive a Nissan and the rest of us out there are Dogs especially those with Hondas. You know Us that actually work on the nissans and do the tunning. Atleast thats me anyway I drive Honda and Tune Z cars. But then again you get the same thing on Honda Tech so nothing is different and you should be accustom to it I mean they even have flame images that you can post even here I believe

I see these as the forums contributions to the problem butr then again it makes things interesting.

Isn't telling a (premier) member to "grow up" and basically that he's "whining" disrespectful ?

And personally, I find calling my350Z.com a "flippin internet forum" dsrespectful to the whole community in general and to the hard working MODs in particular.

I believe that most of the members here have nothing against Hondas (me especially) b/c most of us (excluding the exclusive OT section contributors) are actually automobile enthusiasts. We like cars. I like Hondas just as much as I like Nissans... good cars are just that, good cars

I think most of us are being too sensitive...most of the flaming is for fun anyways...the trouble is that you have to read it (all of it) to find what you're looking for. Also, if you know the answer...just answer them or don't answer at all, it's that easy. Grow some b@lls... be a man and stop crying if someone says something bad to you!

Watd you look me up and do a thesis on me? Dude I might be in high school, but from the **** that comes from you, your not much better. Its posts like yours that make people forget about coming back here.
and when i was referring to the "flipping internet forum" i meant no disrespect to the forum or community, just referring to the fact that people come to this forum to get info and commune with other z owners. And to be a registered user and to put up with **** like the above post, is simply unnacceptable.

Well I know I am new to this website and I really don't use or have much experience with forums in general. I really don't post much due to the subject of this thread. I really dont feel like being "flamed" for asking a question that I may not unerstand, especially when I am serious about finding out the answer. Even when I look at previous threads and I read acroynms that are not common abroad (i.e. WOT, ST, etc.), I want to ask what they mean without a smart*** response from somebody with too much time on their hands. I really do want to here from the decent, nice, people on the forum who take the time out to help the unknowing with their knowledge and wisdom. Its just not a good idea to mess with people you dont know. Thanks to all those who care enough to lend a helping hand.

To tell you the truth, when I first came to this board I didn't know what those stood for either. And I don't think it is because my first language is not English either. But you know... just reading post on subjects that interested me, I quickly grasped what all those acronyms mean. So I didn't have to ask, I learned. I knbow I said this before byt I prefer researching something and not just asking for the answer. IMO (In My Opinion) If you just ask and get an answer, you also get 10 more questions. If you research, you'll find the answer to your question PLUS the answer to those other 10 questions PLUS some additional knowledge.

That said, were you to ask what those acronyms mean, stating you're not a native English speaker, I do not think that anyone would flame you. I wouldn't, that's for sure...
