bottom line is , ....money is what the name of the game is before the enthusiast . If the admin wanted to have a site dedicated to the 350 and just its direct car related sponsers , its within his admin abilities to do so. The ad is there because his intrests reach farther obviously then just that. So its about the bottom line. People acted shocked , u think this is a new tactic.

Looks ridiculous in the Banner for a car enthusiasts site IMO.

Nothing like that I believe. More like democracy where you will be ostracized.

numbers should actually rear 57 to 9 since it is a conflict of intrest for Wired 24/7 to vote since he is a Mod.

Seems like the gross majority has spoken.

If someone wants to make money, sell them a list of the "no" voters. I have a couple of bridges I could sell them myself. Hey, you wouldn't need a product at all. Just have a poll of something ridiculous and you will accumulate a list of the potential guppies. Opps, I'm giving ideas to those type of ad type people.

I apologize to those voting no because of free speech issues. But as someone said, this site bans disrespectful people and that ad is disrespectful.

respectfully yours,

Seeing as though only 60+ people have voted, and on a typical evening there are around 1000 plus members online, the overwhelming "gross" majority don't really seem to care, do they?

As I stated before, by having a public poll, those who would have voted to keep it were probably reluctant to vote for fear of the harassment by the more vocal crowd that wants it removed. Face it, how often do you see a public poll? This is the first one I've seen in my 3 years here.

In the end it's all up to Kyle anyway. I'm sure once it's served it's purpose, he'll take it off.

Shall I start a non public poll? It's only been a day and I'm sure if those who are aware of this poll would give their answer. I don't see anyone getting harassed here with respect to the rules to other members here. In the end it will be up to Kyle's promise and ethical value.

So exactly how many millions must Kyle pocket before he pulls the shameful and embarassing ad promoting a pyrmiad scam?

Read Zand02max's post on this thread and see the validity.

Whats your point?
Mine is people browse over posts online all the time, they see someone getting for posting the opposite of what someone else wants to hear and bamn now they wont post for fear of the same, you follow me.

Like there are a lot of members that visit this site daily for years yet have only a few posts, most tell me the same thing. They dont post for fear of getting flammed.

Hopefully that makes sense.

EDIT: Actually re-read the thread, close this poll, redo it, make it private this time and we'll see..
