Try it, it works.

Admins???

I believe silvrhand had to remove boolean searching for non-premier members because it was clogging the hell out of the server. Boolean searching uses a million times more processor power and we often have hundreds of people searching at once... it bogs everything down

If you do NOT have access to boolean searching, the best way to search is to use the TITLES ONLY option (Z04 used a perfect example), and keep your searches to 1 or 2 words. If you are good, you will only have 1-2 pages of results to look through briefly.

An alternative option is for the new user to send a private message to a moderator or a "nice" premier saying they need help with some boolean searching

Boolean searching is available to non-premier members. I have access to it from the advanced search screen.

But Boolean is only useful if you're using more than one search term at a time. Doesn't make a difference for one word searches.

You should just ID everyone that signs up on the website. Only allow 21 and up.
