I can't remove anyone from my ignore list, it will not let me make changes because someone already on the list became a mod. Therefore when I try to hit "update" it won't let me do it.

Is there any repair for this or do all people on the list have to stay on forever?

 

Just tried my ignore list and its working fine. Remember that you must manually delete the name then click update.

 

It won't let me update because one of the people that was on the list has now become a moderator. I think I would have to take him off the list in order to take off the other guy, and I don't want to do that if I don't have to.

 

well, there could be a drawback to that if you got the mod on ignore. if you do something to cross that particular person and you got him on ignore, there is no way he could give you a warning. Mod or not they should not be on ignore at all

 

He wasn't a mod when I put him on ignore in the first place. I don't recall why I put him on ignore. But the point is that I shouldn't be foreced to read his posts. If a vendor I didn't trust (and thus have on ignore) was not able to be put on the list because he is a vendor that would be wrong as well.

Admin should be unblockable able for work purposes of course, but the Mods, IMO, don't really rate high enough for that.

 

sean i understand your point however if that mod warns you in a thread and you never see it and then repeat the same action you can be banned. I think you should keep the mod off ignore but i totally understand what you are asking

 

I should have pretended I couldn't read this, but it's almost 3 am.

The point is, the mod was on my list before he became mod.....now should I be required to read his posts when I thought he did something to deserve the ban list originally?

I can keep him on the list, he is still there, as I can add all I want. The issue is that I can't remove anyone unless I remove him (the mod) as well.

 

So remove the people you want then add (the mod) back on the list Sean then you wont have to pretend to not see what they type.

 

It was my understanding that mods couldn't be on the ignore list. Or at least that's what somebody told me when she tried to add me on her list.
