Not to sound like a jackass or anything.. but whats going on with this website?

Every thread I look at now has people who leave smart *** comments... always bashing the OP or dissing someone or something. Seems as if every new thread started now needs a joker to crack a joke in.

Even though I been here for only 7 months.. wow has a lot changed.

Now I understand why the veterans get pissed off at these newcomers who leave dumb remarks. And I always wondered why there were rude. haha

Seriously.. just go into a forum.. close your eyes, and click on the thread. Guaranteed on the first page is going to be someone making a dumb comment that doesn't even deal with the thread.

Now.. someone make a dumb remark to this thread please

 

the problem is that as many times as people emphasize using the search feature.. you decided to make a thread about something that has been discussed time and time again

had you searched and found the answer, you wouldn't now be upset that people made smartass comments in your thread.

Where in the post did I ask a question? If your talking about title, thats was the first time I have ever seen a rear mounted turbo on the Z and I thought of posting it.. hence the quesiton mark in the title.

All the teens/stupid kids joining recently and posting their crap have made the old timers jaded. We now post crap back at them, seems like they can dish it out but can't take it.

 

stupid comments get stupid replies... plus i think alot of the guys, including myself, are joking 90% of the time. Grow some chest hair and stop crying. LOL, thats the kinda stuff your posting about. how ironic. i'm part of the problem, not the solution.

If someone wants some legitimate advice and I can help, I'm happy to pass it along. Otherwise I'm just goofing around.

If I can offer one piece of advice, before posting a thread (a new thread not a post in an existing thread) use search. BUT, the search here is not very parameter friendly so often you'll get every thread here as the answer to your search, which obviously doesn't help.

So, when you click search don't just type your search word in the box. Click advanced search and type your search word(s), BUT click titles only. You will have a much more true search and you can be assured at least no one created a thread asking exactly what you're asking.

i don't own a GTR and i'm not joining a site just to shoot the ****.

 

well, I join certain sites to "shoot the $#!+" with folk who I have a history with but, yeah, I don't (and won't probably) own a GT R. I probably will still join to talk with folk I've interacted with here. This is a car community too.

 

i would join to talk with people cause i do have a small history with those same guys but i also like to cruise the site for random stuff while shooting the ****. this entire conflict is aggervating.

fo real. if i post any pics of anything, i expect at least some negative feedback. not everyone has the same tastes and for me to post a picture on a public forum, i expect it to be discussed both ways.
