I would just like to take this time to THANK my350z.com. I'm a new 350z owner, and just signed on to this site recently. Here's my story;

I let my girlfriend drive my car for a few days, and she's an idiot. She put a CD covered with pop in my player, and locked it up. Well I was pissed, and upset that my new (to me) car didn't have a cd player anymore. Well, I found a used one on here for $50 shipped ($30 for the player, and $20 extra for shipping), from an AWESOME member, SnowmanZ (https://my350z.com/forum/members/111619-snowmanz.html / https://my350z.com/forum/audio-video...-05-350z.html). I received the head unit this morning, and with a simple search, found the pictured instructions on how to do the swap. (https://my350z.com/forum/audio-video...y-monitor.html) I used that thread. The head unit is in and working, and I'm a happy Zowner.

Overall, I couldn't be happier with how much this site has helped me out. I'd like to show my gratitude by becoming a supporting member, I'll look into that later today.

Had a nearly identical story shortly after I first got my Z and signed up. OEM head unit died, got one really cheap on the marketplace here, installed it with a DIY in the tech area. Then all fluid changes, brake pads, new stereo, etc...

Pretty much everything I know about the car I learned from this forum.

 

my oem headunit is rediculously picky with cds, i think its going to be time for a double din in dash soon..

1. Never let your girl drive your car, or admit to doing so.

2. Never speak of your woman w/o posting pics of said female.

3. Become a Premier Member.

4. Dont post pics of your stock Z and ask comments.

5. Search

6. Never post in the FI section
