I busted my butt to get 32,000 points and now they're gone....

the ratio was very informative, the points alone were useless. high ratio meant you had good posts, equal ratio meant you... well didnt.

unless you post whored, then you would have a high ratio, as people replied to your BS threads. fastest way to get points was always to ask a religious question, its always good for a few replies.

 

Anyone notice how much faster the site runs without the points system?

 

The point system was turned off.... then... BOOOM... back on again.

What the $&$%&$ is going on ?

I personally think the point system should be turned off... and everybody who wants to glow/not glow their name be left as an open option.

It would make the site unique in that respect.

But FairladyZ you have 'good' posts because your ratio is so high; (your ratio is 25.85) unlike me whose posts are not as good (my ratio is only 2.98). I wonder whether my friends share this opinion of me and are just too timid to tell me that my conversation really isn't up to par. My students have always rated me highly but now I wonder....
