This board gets flamed alot on other Z boards for some reason. I hear they get a little jelous because they have like 3 people on their board all at once on a good day.

 

We're pretty original with our stuff too.

Alot of the Admins features are ripped off.

But, mainly they call us evil because we're so damn good looking.

It's a sin.

Poor moderation (lots of biases). Also too much moderator involvement.

 

This is probably the best board for technical info, TSB updates and "whats that noise" problems. I like this board a lot. I've been a member of other 350z boards for over a year. I just joined here in September. Glad I joined. The only bad thing is the maturity level sometimes. But everything comes with a price I suppose

 

Aye, the maturity level goes both ways. But it does in pretty much every forum.

You've got the Trolls and the Snobs.

Your best bet to have fun in this board is chill out, have fun, and go find the nearest boob thread.

 

yup, other boards are the home to those whom "we mods" banned, and as such of course we are not liked, and in some cases considered over censoring the forum.

of course there is one case in particular that has given the staff the bad name. but at the end of the day, the aweful staff generally takes about 5 reports from users each day to posts that they considered inappropriate(and thus edit), move stuff around, and basicly try and help and act as a somewhat leader. we rarely do banning and such, I personally have banned 2 or 3 people in my time as a mod, all of which were complete trolls without question. no one complains when this stuff happens.

its the very rare case where its someone with more than 3 posts that is breaking the rules that people get upset. sadly the forum has thousands of users, and pleasing everyone isnt possible, so in every decision someone is rubbed the wrong way.

but we are all just volunteers, we are in no way rewarded for our work here, often just criticized. a thankless job, but someones got to do it. Im certainly not complaining, or else I wouldnt be a mod, just my way to give back to the community, if I didnt think I was helping I wouldnt waste my time.

 

They're just jealous... cause we're by far the best board!!!

I'm not sure why if we're such an evil board with bad mods and rude members yet it seems that we get mentioned over and over again in other forums.

There are many Z forums, most of them are pretty good. The "Evil Board" thing is essentially a propaganda campaign started by one or two people who were banned from here and can't quite move on yet.

For those of you who have been here a while, I'm sure you've seen that the feelings about moderation swing wildly. A while ago, all the talk was about how the board was overrun with trolls and that the mods weren't running a tight ship. Currently, it's gone a little the other way. Eventually, the trolls will probably re-invade.

Ironically one of the expatriots of this board (banned here) has now been banned from the "good board".

Maybe now 350zmotoring.com will be known as "The other evil board"

 

Yeah. We're just plain evil, power hungry bastards. I mean, who DOESN'T want a job where you don't get paid and no matter what you do, someone PMs you with something rude or stupid to say. I know you're all jealous! LOL With all the commotion going on over at Motoring and this "certain member" I really don't think it's a situation where everyone's out to get him and it's all a conspiracy against this guy.

Like it's been said, we try our best, but can't please everyone, so we'll just keep on doing what we, as a group, think is best for the majority.
