update:
I left them alone over xmas and new years.
Sent a few emails since the new year, but no response.
Ive now lodged a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
I got a question though: If i were to make a complaint to the police, how would i go about doing that, given im on the other side of the world?

something else just occurred to me. I checked the tracking number they sent me and it said the origin of the goods was San Francisco. I had a look at the Bassani website and sure enough, they are based in California. I'm not sure how these tuning houses work, but maybe they never actually get the exhaust in and it ships direct from the manufacturer. Ive emailed Bassani to see if they have any record of my order.
fingers crossed.

Prosecuting:
Don't threaten to prosecute if they don't make good as that can be used against you. If you want to prosecute most states will require you to submit a certified letter to the seller that has the terms you want like the refund of money. Then if they don't pay up you can contact their local district attorney to file charges for fraud. That is the best info I can give you.
Just be careful what you say/do against them.
Also they are definitely just drop shippers. They probably work out of their home just collecting a check. They told me after an order that the part was damaged during shipping and after contacting the vendor they said there was never a part in stock and that it was special order so basically CVR lied about availability.
They have been doing this for years apparently on and off. Sometimes good CS sometimes none at all and now they are going to be gone...

well bassani emailed me back and they have no record of my order. They also stated that CVR Motorsports are not an authorized dealer and that Bassani dont have a drop shipping arrangement with them.
So i had a look on thier authorized dealers list for dealers around San Fran that might sell Bassani systems for the 350z and found this mob.
ill see if they know anything about CVR or my order.
does anyone else recognize any companies from this list that would sell 350z parts?

no money for me. Havent heard off them since before xmas.
I just left a message for all thier "fans" on thier facebook page.
I'm also going to start emailing thier suppliers and tell them that CVR are ripping people off.
Then i'm going to see if i can get their web page taken down.

Did you see this on G35 driver?
So I wrote Adam's Rotors this last night:
Hello,
I placed an order with CVR Motorsports LLC in New York and wondering if you had recieved an order from them. I made the purchase on December 15, 2010 for your AR Street S/S/D rotors to replace the ones on my 2004 G35 Coupe NON-Brembo. I requested the red hub with silver rotor.
Why I am sending this email is to possibly cut the middle man out. I might need to order directly from you if they have failed to place the order. Here's the big question, from then until now have you recieved an order from them for this application?
I am concerned because I have discovered on my community forum that CVR Motorsports LLC has been "Banned" with many forum members suggesting fraud. Bottom line its been about 4 weeks and I still need rotors.
I am attempting to get intouch with CVR in the meantime. If what the forum has posted is true, I will need to get a refund.
Here's what I got back in response:
..."get a refund and then I'll take care of you directly...don't wanna go into it, but they are no longer. this in NO WAY is related to our company and I'm sorry for the trouble..."
I haven't got a response from CVR as expected. So it looks like I need to take this to the bank's fraud department...unfortunately for me this isn't the first time I need to use them. Last time some guy in Corona stiffed me on a carbon fiber hood. Good thing about my bank is they take care of their clients. Good luck to those out there working their refunds.

no i didnt. and i just i just surfed here to post this email i just sent them:
Dear Adams Rotors,
I am contacting you regarding one of your re-sellers, CVR Motorsports. Whilst I haven’t ordered your products from CVR Motorsports myself, there is growing number of CVR customers on the web who have paid for your products and been ripped off. CVR appear to be in some kind of financial difficulty. They are taking orders, but not sending the products, or they are sending the wrong products.
What’s my motive in this? I paid $1,300 for a Bassani exhaust back in October. To cut a long story short, CVR lied to me repeatedly, telling me my exhaust had been shipped. When I found out it hadn’t, they ignored my emails and phone calls and now they will not respond to my correspondence at all. Three months later I have no exhaust and my money is gone.
I don’t think they should be allowed to rip off other people in same way. It is fraud. If you want to see proof to back my claims, just Google “CVR Motorsports”. Whilst I started a lot of the discussion about CVR, it has brought to light a lot of people who have been scammed, including people who ordered Adam’s products.
For the sake of your own business, don’t do business with CVR Motorsports.
If you would like to discuss this further, please don’t hesitate to email me.
Sincerely,
(me)

What a coincidence. I'm not stopping until their web page is gone. Whilst that **** is still up people are still getting scammed.
