Sometimes when i click on a photo on the main forum page at the top in the gallery, it says can not view it because you do not have permission.

Why is this?

Hello Chomorro, I reviewed your permissions (usergroups) and they are set to the groups that you need to belong to... for good measure, I compared them to another veteran user (davidv) here and they are all the same.

So that we can narrow this down and isolate the issue's point-of-failure, could you please either provide us the URL of any particular gallery photo image that is rendering the permissions error for you, or give us the screen name (listed below the photo in the form of a link) of the member who has the photo in question so that we can investigate permissions from the gallery end accordingly, we will be better equipped to resolve the issue.

Dam i cant remember the name but the car is one of a kind gallery. Its a Z almost completely covered on carbon fiber and sponsor stickers doing a drift. I always click on it wanting to see a closer pic but i get the error... Let me see if i can replicate it.

I found that the album in question belonged to a user who had been banned some time back, and this may plausibly be the reason why the album is inaccessible. Why it's still in the random album rotation, I would have to consult the IB team about...

Are you able to find any other albums (of other users) for which this error is present? Thanks.

 

I had the same error for what I believe to be the same user. I tried other users and was able to access. I guess it was just that one user's profile.

^ He's another banned member. If I remember correctly, both of them (mdracer76 and jay'z) have not only been banned but are also put on GI, which may be the reason why regular users are having permission issues.

 

I have a question.. What happened that recently people have "Garage is empty,add now" Some user's I recall had their garage previously set up. Were they wiped out?

 

I set mine up when we first added the Garage feature and I've not touched it since then; mine is still there.
