How about setting up a paypal type donation to upgrade the servers? I'm sure a lot of people would be willing to donate some money to make these boards faster.

The point is we can complain, I don't go here often because the speed is rather annoying.

I don't know what kind of person the webmaster is but if he's at all honest then we could just tell him that the donations are to make the boards after, NOT for him to pocket.
