Not even the moderators answered my emails asking what was going on with the site. Maybe we should just all move to another site that gives a shift about its members.

I won't knock the mods/admin/owner for not responding to individual "Hey, the site is down" emails. If they did, that's all they would do all day long.

I do fault them for not having the ambition to put any type of monitoring/notification system in place to a) become aware of a problem with the various sections of the site as soon as it occurs, and b) to have the courtesy to update the members which drive the advertising revenue with a simple status/expected uptime of the site.

Being a network engineer for several very large e-commerce websites, I can tell you that in the e-business world, this site is a joke from an operational standpoint. By the standard uptime rating, they haven't even achieved one 9, let alone the 5 9's that most businesses expect.

Until the people who actually pay the bills here (sponsors) start complaining and threating the owner, he's going to do absolutely nothing.

^and there are a lot of sponsors on this site. I'm sure they make more than just pay the bills.
