Default What To Use For F/I?

I have read alot of posts lately and was wondering what is a good tuner tool to use for F/I? Which one is the best, the TS reflash, E-manage, HKS F-Con, or is there anything else someone recommends. I don't want to have to go through a motor so I want to do it right the first time. I will be using the Vortech Kit for F/I so I don't want to use the fuel system that it comes stock with because it seems like you cannot do too much with it. If someone could give me some advice it would be nice. Thanks

If you haven't already purchased the Vortech, here's my 2 cents: My advice is to wait and see what powerplant the 2007 Infiniti Skyline GT-R will have. The info should be available by 2006. Spy photos in the Feb. 2005 edition of "Sport Compact Car" magazine show the 2007 Infiniti Skyline (pg. 40-41). It has Infiniti badging (which does not exist in Japan) and left-hand drive. It is definitely coming to the U.S!

Current debates about its powerplant concern the Q45's VK45DE, 4.5L, DOHC 32-valve V8 vs. a twin-turbocharged version of the 3.5L VQ35DE V6. The editors of "Sport Compact Car" believe it will be the forced-induction version of the VQ35DE. If this turns out to be true, there may be a conversion kit for our 350Z's to turn them into twin-turbo's. It will likely involve a lower compression ratio, which means new rods and pistons, a new or reflashed ECU, etc., but it will be well-researched, engineered, and likely warrantied.

If you wait for the latest and greatest you will never own anything. What happens when the new skyline is out in 2007? There will be something ever better in the horizon.

Just my 2cents.

Its doubtful there will be a "conversion kit". Even it there were...it would be cheaper to just to build up a turbo kit yourself...with the forged internals and everything.

So which engine management would be the best way to go?

Phunk and t32gzz have had good success with the HKS Fcon Pro-V system. Maybe drop them a PM and get some feedback right from someone who has used this system. I personally think it is the best system for the Z at this time. It combines the benefits of the stand alone system with the ability to allow you're factory ecu to still run the basic functions in the car Eg. gauges,VDC, etc. Only drawback is finding an HKS pro dealer to tune it for you.

But anyways, he knows a lot and is a cool guy and u should buy ur stuff through him.
