Return Fuel System Questions
Hey Guys,
As you know I'm trying to build up my Z to be a reliable twin turbo. After checking out the ********** pages I ran across an article that scared me:
http://www.**************/forums/ind...showtopic=3545
*'s = **********(DOT)com
It shows how the stock fuel system does not evenly distribute fuel to all the cylinders. The solution they offer is a return fuel system. What is a return fuel system? How does it work? I can't really visualize what it is doing.. It is like some other kind of secondary fuel rail? Please go into as much detail as possible as I am very eager to learn.
Thanks

there is so much information on this board and my suggestion is to go to the search and put in return fuel system and several threads will come up about it.... you will have ALOT to read and it will probably answer all your questions....
that is how I learned alot of the information I know.
as for the return fuel system, I would go with AAM.
so you can do a search on AMM fuel return system as well. It is definitely something you want for TT

The factory setup is returnless. This means the fuel flows out of the pump and up to the front of the car where the rails are. The fuel then goes into one side of the rails (ie left bank of the motor) then through a short tube and into the other side. There is no return to the fuel tank.
Take a looks at this thread for more infor and pictures on our system.
