Default Looking for a test car to fit our TT kit at Boost Logic

We are located in Austin, Texas. We need a volunteer 350Z test car to fit our TT kit on. We already have the manifold developed for the 350Z; we just need to finish the rest of the kit.

If anyone is interested, please contact us for details at Kean@boostlogic.com or 512-371-9960

Thanks
Kean

I did not want to post too many details to prevent breaking any forum rules.

The 350z kit will be like the new kits that are being released from our company this year. It will be a full Intercooled kit with fuel and engine management. The manifolds were finished over 7-8 months ago, but our previous test car decided to go on a different path. We need a car to finish the rest of the kit.

What exact details were you looking for?

The kit will be based on twin T28 sized turbo's mounted onto SS321 tubular manifolds. All exhaust pipes are mandrel bent Stainless Steel 304 and all IC and Intake pipes are mandrel bent Aluminum.

Any details on prototype vehicle compensation will need to be discussed over phone. We prefer someone that is in state.

Thanks,
Kean

Damn, I just left Austin after graduation and won't be back for a year or two. I don't know if you remember me, Kean (probably not), but we met at a UTSCC meet a long time ago at EZ's on Lamar. I recall you had your white 6spd MKIV with the 276* cams. I had a black Prelude at the time, but I rode with Edward Doan in his Firebird.

I'll have to keep up with what's going on with the Z kit through Daniel Mora. Is he still doing the web stuff for BL?

To everyone else, I've seen Boost Logic's handiwork on their MKIV Supra kits. Top notch. BL used to have pictures of the 350Z manifolds on the site, and they were really nice looking. They have equal length runners instead of the log-style manifolds that PE, GReddy, and APS are using. I suspect the equal length manifold might eliminate any possibility of CARB certification due to different placement of the cats, but I'm not sure -- not that it matters much to me personally, but I know the CA people have to worry about it.

One quick question for you, Kean -- are you planning to anchor the manifolds to the engine or tranny down by the turbo mounting flange? Lots of people (myself included) are wary of hanging a heavy turbo off of a tubular manifolds without extra support. I believe SSR is doing something like this with their manifold.

Matt

Hey Kean,

I remember you with the white Supra single turbo from a few years back. I'm still in Austin (Round Rock), and I may be able to help out with this project. Please PM or e-mail me the details.

Thanks!
Edward
