If nissan offered a sc kit for the z/g, would you buy it?
I doubt it would be...people are not going to drop Carrera cash for a Nissan to be honest. The only reason the next gen GTR should succeed if it comes in FI form to the US is because of the cult following that has now built up around it. I cannot fathom how a Z selling for more than $40k would ever sell.
There were lots of factors that lead to the demise of the 3kGt, Supra, RX7 and the Z. Alot of it ahs to do with the economy at the time as well

overpriced when they were discontinued it was pathetic. They were priced in the Porche 911 range at that time.
Another thought on this same thread, why is there so much bashing of the 3.5 Nissan V6? This is one of the best V6 engines
ever made. No one has ever made an engine with this much hp and torque at the price we pay. I adore this engine in its stock
manner.
I think some of the people considering FI would buy the Z or G if it had a TT version. I would have paid $10k more for a TT option with warranty. With all the talk about blown engines and cost of strengthening the internals, I'm leaning towards not getting FI and just getting a faster car in a few years.
If you want a car that runs like a vette buy one, by the time you invest all the money in mods to gain a few hp, you could buy a new C6 and still not be in the same class. The 350Z for the money is the best buy on the market.
