This is very interesting becuase my buddy just got a Titan a few months ago and I was talking to him and he said he could of sworn that he heard his car pinging one day. Could this be why?

miaplaya, as you can tell, several of us are beginning to believe he(greg) is thinking of the old TSB for the original crank/cam trigger problems of the early production z's. mabey this sparked somthing he remembers hearing of those problems........were still curious if somthing new has come up though!

thanx,
-justin

Actually greg isn't the one who told me. it was Brad who heard from performance Motorsports in NY. He said they were going to fax it to him. I'm gonna call Greg tomorrow and see whats up.

Me too...I ordered the fix from phunk anyways just cuz I'm sure when I stroll in with a turbo Z they are going to laugh me out of the dealership...

hehe, that may be true.....though if there is truely a TSB then even if we dont get it fixed via a TSB fix at least we know there is a shielded wire available to purchase from nissan! who gets it done via TSB depends on the goodies under the hood, lol! you are wise to purchase the wire from phunk as we just dont know if anything will be available in the future........
