Install 380cc & AAM return system on Vortech
Hey All,
I have a set of PE 380cc injectors sitting in my garage and I'm waiting on AAM's V2 return style complete fuel system and Walbro 255lph pump to be ready. I'm going to do the install myself whenever all the parts are in and tune it myself with the R4 and my Zeitronix dattalogger.
Does anyone else out their have a similar setup on their Vortech? And if so, how is the driveabilty with the all of those fuel upgrades? Just wanted to get some first hand impressions.
Thanks,
Steve

I have 550 injectors with a return fuel system .The vacuum side will be easy to tune . You first need to set your FPR to 48 to 50 psi and then adjust the injectors on the fuel map . All the numbers on the vacuum side should be about the same . The best way to get the right number , is start to lower the numbers on the vacuum side by [ 0.1 ] at a time . Let the ECU adjust . When you think you got it about right . Go to your dealer and have them check the A/F ratio . And do a Air/ idle learning test . They check the A/F by reving to 2000rpm and see if its ok . You may get a check engine light while you are doing all this . Reset the ECU when you get it .PM me if you want to talk . I'll send phone # Bill
