Backagain,

Do it yourself, tune it for free. You have all the tools.

Do two of those runs, back to back. Except this time put it in second and coast down to 1000 rpm, then floor it to WOT upto redline. You'll get a graph just like that with values from 1000rpm to 6600 rpm with the corresponding AF ratio. Then, hook up your laptop to the split second box and download the map. (see other posts about this) Adjust each value slightly more rich or slightly more lean based on the zeitronix graph. Then go "dyno" with the zeitronix and see where you stand.

About 3-4 cycles, and you'll be perfectly tuned. It worked great for me.

haven't had a chance to 1/4 mile yet. acceleration is crazy unbelievable. i have had a LOT of issues out of it though, aux fuel pump hose coming out, for about 2 weeks i couldn't rev past 4500 rpm at wot, adjusted the bov and it started working fine, but now, everynow and then when wot it will get what seems like limp mode, loss of power, car will not shut off but will not rev, turn off car, turn back on, car runs fine, i hope this is just limp mode and the car is taking care of me. any ideas gq ?

Do you have your ECU reflashed? I notices your Throttle Position was at 99% during your power run. Mine only reads 82-83 when I record runs on my Zeitronix. Thanks!

So this is one of my graphs. If you only make small adjustments, like change 10 to 10.2 or 10.1, it's pretty safe. I think your sampling rate might be low also.

My tps shows 100, but that's because I selected View->TPS-> calibrate to plot range. Before that, it always read like 87% or something.

Default Limp mode issues

Backagain,

I don't want to hijack thread, but you caught my interest with the going into limp mode issue. I think I have the same issue. Before the winter on 3 occassions I was on highway gong about 65 and downshifted and punched it and my car all of a sudden would not let me rev (very dangerous - almost got rear ended twice!). If I did rev (even a little) it would bog down. I could cruise at about 1,400 RPM's max. on all occasions I pulled over and restarted the car and problem disappeared. I could not duplicate on purpose. I posted a few months ago but no one had experienced it. My car has been in storage for winter ever since but i will have to deal with it soon. If you continue to see the problem, we should recall my old thread or start a new one to try to figure it out. Good luck!
