Default TS and 100% throttle

TS flashed my ECU for...rev limiter...speed limiter...thottle body 100% open . The other day I had the OBDII hooked up and it only showed 85% open at WOT . Has any one confirmed with a OBDII or another scanner that thier throttle body was at 100% open at WOT ?
Thanks Bill

OBDII is inaccurate as far as our cars are concerned. In fact, 85-88% on an obd2 scanner IS in fact 100% for us...

Bill, I had my ECU 'limited flashed' by TS. Just did some dyno pulls and data logging using Zeitronics. TPS was displayed on the graph at 99%. Not sure if it will even show 100%.

I think it should be showing much more tha 85%...very close to 100%. The sampling rate on most of the BDII softwares is pretty slow..but something like TPS should be very close.

I run an OBDII scanner....very accurate and fast sampling rates.

Ditto... I had my ECU reflashed by AAM twice. The second was their "F/I reflash" which I know pulls timing. I noticed that I only record about 83% at WOT on my Zeitronix. It may be for 'safety but I sure hate leaving HP's on the table. -Steve

Can someone with a TS reflash confirm what their TPS level is? Something doesnt sound right here.

I have the TS "Limited Flash". Data logged six dyno pulls on Thursday with Zeitronix. At WOT, TPS ranged from 98% to 99%.

So if I have my TS ECU flash... any adverse effects once I join the FI club? I'd really like the throttle limit fix... not sure what else is beneficial prior to FI. Any suggestions would be nice..... to flash, or not to flash!?

Ok..I recalibrated my OBDII and Im still only getting 85% TPS . Im going to wait till I get my Zeitronix hook up and see what it reads. If it reads 85% too , Im going to send in the ECU to TS and have them check it . I need to know if the throttle body is opening up all the way .

booger, if I recall, didn't you have to return your ECU to TS to have your ECU reflashed. You once had the "full" flash and Vortech SC was looking for OEM ECU with exception of rev limit, throttle and speed limit. Maybe, just maybe, TS didn't get it right.

I did the "Limited" flash and showing throttle at 99%. Trying to figure out how CaneZMD is showing 100% on his Zeitronix data logging.

I had it flashed before the Vortech install . Sent it back to have stock fuel trim put back in . But told them to leave the rest . The Zeitronix should be here soon and I'll check it then . Its going back to TS if it doesnt show close to 100%

Sounds like they might have reset everything on your ECU back to OEM. With that "new" engine, you probably have not been able to see if you are hitting the "rev limit".

When you get your Zeitronix back it will be easy see. My Rev Limit is also at 7200, with no speed limit and 100% Throttle. I will watch for your future posts or send me a PM.
