CJM Single Fuel Pump Kit Complete, Finally...
that is what i figured..... looks really nice. and pretty small too. that is my one complaint about the aeromotive one. it just seemed too big. and hell, if it can flow enough fuel for a turbo viper V-10, it should be way more than adequate for a v6 turbo application.
Not to bash but doesnt the Altered Atmosphere kit cost $400 less and come with a far superior regulator and pressure guage as well as "O" ring for the fuel tank? Why wouls someone spend $1195 on yours?Plus it looks as if you simply copied their fuel rails.

hahaha
thanks for the nice contribution to my thread!

You tell me if thats a "far superior regulator"... i dont recognize it at all. My regulator has an IN, it has an OUT. it has a gauge port. It is adjustable. It is 1:1. Are there any features you think its missing?
Of course mine comes with a pressure gauge as well. How else would you set base pressure.
A fuel tank O-Ring is trivial as I have yet to ever have to replace one. If you would like one, I will gladly send you one.
As for copied their rails... If you are a serious potential customer I will send you both brand rails and you can fit them both up and pay for the ones you want to run and send the others back.
We have run their rails in my car. Matter of fact, we have their rails AND the stock rails both programmed in the CAD software, and I could easily replicate them if I wanted to. As much as fuel rails could POSSIBLY differ, these ones differ... there is precisely down to the gram a 2/3 difference in weight... not to imply that fuel rails 120 grams heavier are gonna slow you down, but it is my goal to use this weight difference to express that there is obviously is big difference if they are made out of the same material but have such a huge difference in final weight. Unfortunatly a fuel rail is always going to look like a bar from the exterior.
Why would someone spend more on my kit? To put it simply, good judgement
The AAM product is very functional and I am not going to say negative things about it. Obviously I felt there was room in the market for another product.
I will just say that there does not have to be something WRONG with one product, for someone to make improvements.
The largest contributor to the price increase is the additional components, outsourced professional assembed and cromped coated lines versus hand assembled standard AN lines, and roughly twice the machine time on the fuel rails. Our rails have more machining to them requiring them to be on the machine longer.
Other than that, the quality speaks for itself. Hopefully some day you will have one in your hands so you can see for yourself. Its kind of like asking why someone would buy a BMW over a Buick... the additional cost isnt worth it for everyone, but there is a variety of markets that exist.

no problem sir,
I trust the once I do a real "photoshoot" of the entire product installed on a customers car with all the actual components that come with and what not, you will see what you are getting and I promise you will love it and probably sleep with it a few nights before installing.
I get the impression in other threads that you may own a shop? We are doing wholesale on this kit so maybe you would be interested after all? PM me if you care to.

Charles, nice work. As somebody who produces a high quality (IMO the best available
) fuel system for another platform, I can recognize the amount of time and effort that went into designing/selecting these components.
One question: are the lines stainless braided w/teflon core or stainless braided w/rubber core?

Charles , I had already started down this road and have most of the stuff so I was wandering if you are going to make individual components of the kit available separately.

Just FYI I heard AEM Scrapped their fuel rails due to the fact that they would be unseen and felt that no one would buy them..

Teflon core
One more advantage to our system!

And is it possible to do this:

Personally, I don't care whether it looks SS or not. Just thought it might be an option.
Nice product, btw.

All the components are available seperately.
i am not doing custom lines, they will all be the same. The only custom thing we do is anodize the rails per request for an additional charge.
thanks,
charles
