Egt
I bought a Zeitronix Zt-2 with the EGT sensor. I know that it is best to install the sensor 1"-2" away from the cylinder. I don't really want to put a hole in my headers. The only reason I would like to have the EGT is to see if there is any drastic temp change from the normal operating temp (depending on where it is installed) to tell me if there is a problem. I'm going to be using the WB A/F to really see what’s going on, and to tune. Now the question is. Is it worth me putting the EGT on left side (in the test pipe) and the A/F on the right side (in the test pipe)? Again I'm not really looking for temp reading, but just want to see if there is any major change on the left bank.
Hope that makes sense
Thanks

Been using the Zeitronix unit for about 8 months. I install the A/F Sensor/Bung in the driver's side R/T Cat. As of this date I have not installed the EGT. When I do install I will tap the R/T Cat on the passenger side. Your Zeitronix LCD will show 200 until installed.
