Nice numbers, hopefully my car will be making that kind of power soon.

Kyle, congrats on the numbers. Did you do this on pump gas or what octane were you using? Also, did this car have cams and headwork, or just pistons and rods? I am seriously considering bringing you the car back to tune.

WOAW congrats...

I guess the VQ keeps proving to be a very torquey engine.. why such a big difference between the torque and hp? Not that I would mind it! That thing can haul 2 boats attached to a mobile home lol. GOOD JOB !!

That is GREAT! I'd love to be making that much TQ over HP. He needs to go run it at the track and see what it will do! I bet that TQ feels great when launching.

Kyle, you will definitely be enlisted to do my built engine project whenever I'm ready to take the plunge next year...

What is a rough estimate of the total costs involved to get to ~500hp/tq? (including new block) $12k? $15k?

Wow I'd like to know how he's gonna hook up. Can you say 5th gear!

I have a question, on the graph it shows flywheel. Then a lil later Kyle posted saying that it was RW numbers. Is it really rear wheel numbers. That's just crazy either way but even more if it is.

Fernandito, you can find the price on SGP's website under engine pakages. They have a bunch of packages and they also allow custom.

Kyle, insane, yep, you are definitely tuning her too. I will bring her back a couple of weeks after I pick her up.

congrats....but like a previous poster said, the chart shows torque at the flywheel and then you say at the rear wheels. which is correct?

also, looks like you ran on a dynapack. what HP/TQ would you equate if the car was run on a loaded dyno?

Great numbers Kyle. Amazing the torque being so much higher than the horsepower.

Just looked at the graph again and had a question. Why did you only run it to 6000 rpm?

The dynopack only reads RWHP and RWTQ. There is no way to properly calculate actual Flywheel HP and TQ. I am not sure why Dynopack decided to label the TQ reading with "flywheel" but I can assure you it is the RWTQ.

For people that want estimates on engine builds and tuning involved in getting this type of power please email me at sales@sgpracing.com and I will be happy to give you estimates on what is involved.
