Are the 12s attainable with a 5AT with the Vortech?

Wow whats the elevation? I would expect a Vortech car with over 400 rwp to trap higher than that, even on a slick track. I remember reading about the guy who ran his untuned Vortech 333 rwhp to 109 trap.

Hell yeah, I would say an AT with a pulley upgrade, bolt-ons, and a good launch-prolly need DR's- would no problem run 12's. Their is a post in the racing section about a guy in his wife's auto Z s/c that went 12's (12.8X)with DR's...

Go to post #3 and this thread and click on the hyper link. That G is an 5AT but has all the extra mods.

Elevation isn't bad, it's just Rockingham. We had guys with TT 300ZXs running almost 0.5-1.0 secs slower than prior runs at other tracks due to the conditions.

Oh ok its that bad huh. If you ever run at a decent track post your results, Id love to see what kind of trap you pull, prolly 113-114, who knows.

Tracks differ all over the counrty . Some guy can run 12. 8 at 110mph and go across the country at the same elevation and run a 13.5 at 105 . To many factors involved , launch area , burn out area , air , temp , humidity , track up hill , down hill
