I have an APS TT kit on my stock internals now for 4,000 miles. 11,000 total miles.
I'm running 8.0 psi on 91 Octane gas. Dynoed at 414 rwhp and 398 Torque. No problems and a blast to drive.

I think their is 1 person with almost 100k, other than that, I haven't seen any other ones close yet! The car still runs strong as hell and has had many many of those miles put on at 1/4 mile at a time!!!

I know i am excited. Hopefully people are beating the crap out of these cars.

I was hoping to go aps and not build my engine but i already have 44k miles on my car and should have 60k by next spring when i want to go turbo. I think i may have to build the motor anyway just to get my tolerances back with all the wear and tear of 60k miles.

60K of highway miles should not have hurt the VQ too bad right?
I have 39K right now and want FI by next month. Probably going Stillen SC but man this APSTT is tempting!

I would not really consider it highway miles. For my consulting job i drive back and forth between three counties. I put on lots of miles.

The reason the APS TT isn't blowing any motors is because the lack of user-adjusting with the Unichip. You have to go to a dealer to unlock it to tune. Unlike with the E-Manage with the GReddy. Plus, it's the most complete tt kit for the price.

I think everyone will see soon that the Turbonetics single turbo kit and APS single and twin turbo kit will be the best out of the box and safe solution. Both of them do not allow the user to tune it on their own and are complete.

It may not be user tuneable but some of these guys are reporting hp and tq levels above that which has caused other engines to blow. If i can get 420 hp with no build up and i cant tune it I would be happier than a pig in ****. If i have the ability to tune, I will screw it up. The investment required to shoot for the 500-600 hp range is a little daunting espcially with GTR around the corner.

I wasn't saying it was a bad thing. 420 will be easy with the APS, i'd be looking for ~460rwhp with an APS TT...if I could convince the tuner that those dinky little rods will last past that.

I doubt you are going to get a GTR for less than $50k...jmo.
