Who would be interested in a Group Buy for the APS TwinTurbo? I am looking to get one for my G35. I did not approach any dealer or anything, but I would certainly jump in now if someone was to set up a Group Buy for the kit. Do you know of any dealer who would be interested? Maybe GRD in Chicago or MRC in NJ.
Thanks!
Thanks!
There was one group buy going on about a month ago, but nobody responded so nothing happened. All we needed was five people.
**EDIT** If people are ACTUALLY interested, post here and let's see what we can do. I believe APS will give a discount if we can get enough people.

I'm in for sure. This is for the Twin turbo kit, not the single. There are a few interested here on G35Driver:

I'm sure we can get 5, maybe 10 people.

APS dictates the price that the dealers have to sell the kit at to keep competition equal... The only thing I know some dealers are doing is offereing free shipping.... And APS has just increased there pricing and some dealers may be starting to charge more... Hope this helps...
I believe APS has even said that they cannot tell the dealers what price to sell their kit at. They can suggest, but that's about it. I talked to a dealer last week who dropped the price on the TT $600...and I think there was more room to negotiate.

I made a thread for the SingleTurbo here so we don't hijack this one:

APS has very strict policy on discounting....in essence...dealers are forbidden from discounting.
I tried to coordinate a GB on the APS TT kits, by offering a free plenum and free shipping as the "discount", but there was very little interest. In my opinion, you need to knock off at least $1000 off the $7500 street price to get people really excited about doing this...and Peter and APS would hate to see that kind of discounting...especially given the fact that the kits are selling extremely well.
Just my .02
