Yes, one member on the board has snapped axles at around 400whp on the track. That is the only person I can remember at this point. I am sure there are others.

Clicking of the rear axles should be a warranty claim . . .

I actually snapped an axle . . . after the drunk chick hit the rear passenger tire *LOL*

I'd really like to get on the list but I wont be ready until June. Its good to know the option is there though, I was a little worried about that after everything is done.

I'll be carring these as an everyday item as well. Not at the GB price...but certainly will be the lowest price around. Feel free to contact me later.

You dont have to ship the cores. But your mechanic, or yourself, will have to remove the OEM inner CV, and attach it the new DSS axle. This is something they should be able to do.

If you prefer, you can have DSS do it for you, but they charge $100 extra for the service. I am going to put mine together myself.

sharif:
just curious..playing devil's advocate...what is the next weak link...will the stronger axles now mean the tranny will suffer? any other parts of the drivetrain that you think will prove to be weak?

Default Next Weakest Link !!

I'm sure there is a "next weakest link" but I haven't found one since going to these upgraded 1/2 axles over 5 months ago.
