Default APS TT + EGT and WB02 sensors

Hi all,

I will be getting the APS TT kit very soon. In preparation for this, I have bought the Zeitronix kit, which include an EGT and a Wideband 02 sensor. I am planning on keeping the stock cats for now. The question I had was where should I mount the 2 sensors? The best option I was thinking about was to weld bungs to the turbine outlet casting (right after the turbos), which are made of cast iron. Is that possible? What do you suggest?

Thanks!

The EGT should have a threaded mount that you can drill and tap right into the exhaust manifold. You don't want to weld onto cast....very tough to do without cracking them. The wideband O2 bung should probably go onto the pipe section where the cats are...if you go to test pipes or aftermarket cats they can put an extra bung on when you order them .....for a small fee.
