Default Is forced Induction safe for my Driving style...?

Ok well my job requires me to drive up to 200 miles a day and possibly more but this is only once or twice a week. I dont own a Z yet but Im getting one soon and have always wanted a turbocharged car. I currently own a 2004 maxima so im fairly knowledgable of the VQ35 and what it can handle. Ive just never really known if highway driving puts more stress on a FI vehicle than just plain ol city driving. Would like to hear some input on anything that anyone has to say about this. Thanks guys!!

freeway cruising puts no additional stress or heat on the motor...if TT'ed. That is one of the beauties of TT's....when you are cruising around, the car behaves normally in all respects.

yes. GQ is correct...... just cruising is fine...... this can be seen in my gas mileage in the black mr2 i had

15 around town if i was beating on it 20 normal driving

about 10-12 on the race track

28-34 mpg on the highway cruising at 75-80 mph.

Default What about SC?

I know that the turbo is different that a SC in this respect, but how much of a difference can you expect from the behavior of a supercharger?

A SC puts zero boost on the motor unless you accelerating under full throttle. You can cruise around all day and the motor is under vacuum.
