Default 0-60 times?

Hello to all its my first post. I am really looking into getting a single turbo kit. They seem to be putting down the same numbers or at least in the same ball park of each other. But i was curious as to what someone can expect 0-60 times to be out of the box? also 1/4 and 1/8 mile times. I know no one knows right now but i am looking for a educated guess.

I would say maybe a few tenths faster 0-60...though I wouldn't really measure that. 1/4 times depends on how much power. It should be at least high 12's with ~380rwhp.

Looking at other ~430 crank hp cars (my '276bhp' z ran 227 wheel on a portable mustang dyno, so assume ~50 lost in the drivetrain) such as the z06 vette (slightly less crank hp, slightly less weight), 911 turbo (similar power, but awd)I'd guesstimate 0-60 times in the mid 4 second range, and low 13's in the quarter with traps at probably 108.

If it has 380rwhp and weighs ~3300 with you in it, in theory you should do high 11's. That isn't going to happen in the 350Z. So I would say mid to high 12's.

is that on street tires or drag radials? I am just trying to compare what the Z w/FI can compete with such as vettes, cobras, etc.

I don't understand - a c5 z06 vette weighs about the same and puts down about 375whp (I think), and runs low 12's. Why wouldn't the z be able to do it?

With the APS TT, drag radials and an LSD - 11.67 @ 119

https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....08#post1371508

On a Mustang dyno he says he's only putting 401 to the wheels. 380 with DR's should definately be in the low 12's.

I would NOT compare cars just because the power and weight are similar. There is much more to it than that.
