You have a very good question... Of course one or the other and not both.
The 350z ECU wire loom quick connect kits allow a quick way of changing between VPRO and the E-Manage.
Then the stock 350z wireing loom will be un-modified - So the car can go back to Factory ECU as the third option.
And I never felt great about cutting into the Car's stock wiring loom....
We were fortunate to splice the E-Manage on the Wld350Z stock harness and get it Right the first time..
( Remember there were some WRONG wire color issues in the early Greddy TT kit instructions.. - GQ_626 and 350NOW had sorted those issues out about one year ago... )
At this point in time, the original money that has been spent is history and
paid for. The Car is Strong as it is.. Just not what the customer had as a Goal.
The next phase is to spend a "Little More Money" ( Forgive me Buddy )
to get the results of an installation which would be performed today..
And to make his 350Z be a real "System's Car"
One which a specialist like Charles could fine tune with VPRO
Or One that us "Experimenters" could tune with E-Manage..
Or Stock ECU - For Baselining.
( And as a way out Crazy option another Loom Extender and borrow a Motec from our Contact at TRD - Toyota - As the Race Car only needs the Motec to Tune and Track )
Our buddy has put the best selection of components into his 350Z,
it will be an issue of test - measurement - and recalibration and Repeat.
To be determined...
Cheers Amy

No big deal on the late reply. I guessed that would be the answer I would get. I was just wondering if you knew something I did not. I would be surprised if the Motec yielded results that were much different from the VPro, but it would be an interesting test. Keep us posted.
