Default Vortech install question #2

When connecting the the hose coming off the FMU to the hose leading to the engine how much play is in the connection? When I clip it together the two pipes move around a little. Is there a gasket inside that stops it from leaking? Or should it be really tight with no movement at all?

Thanks

Just to clarify: This is steel (male) connector that connects into the stock (female) connector.

Thanks

Rob

Here are the pictures of the connection that I am talking about. There isn't a lots of movment, but it is not really really tight. I know it will never pop out (clipped in good), but I'm just wondering it it will leak around the sides, since it can spin and move a little. I guess if I don't find the answer I'll just find out when I start the car , and change the type of connection.

Ok ..thats what I thought you was talking about . Im pretty sure there is an O-ring on the end of the male fitting . I think the preasure from the pump seals the fitting , so it will not leak . Some one correct me if Im wrong on how that fitting works
