I haven't been to a drag strip yet but I have done 2 days of road racing at Thunderhill (NorCal) and had a blast. If money isn't too much of hang up I strongly recommend the APS TT kit for instant 400+ HP.
You have 414 to the wheels and Ur stock clutch doesn't slip??

(414rwhp) + (stock clutch) + (1 trip to the drag strip) = new HD clutch + light flywheel

I would say you can do it on 8 maybe 7.5 psi if your real good. I did a 1.998 60' ft
12.40
115mph on street tires.

I haven't had luck launching in the Drag radials, I seem to be babying to much. So Im more than confident my car can hit 11's. And im not a pro!

internal engine mods
None
other mods
Water Injection/Test Pipes/Nismo Exhaust/ RPS Clutch &Flywheel (highly recommended)
tuned or used "out of the box" set up
out of the box tune
RWHP
406whp
RWTQ
389rtq
where installed/tuned
Z1 Motorsports in Carrollton, GA this is their 5th or 6th APS install and I think one of the first completed G35 APS installs in the states if you dont include APS testing their system. Z1 Definitely knows what they are doing.
price for installation/tuning
I had a bunch of other stuff done all at the same time so my final bill is higher than what it usually would be
miles on kit
20 of the best miles I've driven in my life and counting
other comments
My car is hitting 10psi with test pipes and nismo exhaust. Before the car was obnoxiously loud which was cool at first but now I like how quiet it is. Everything is perfect, hearing the turbo's spool up is unreal as well as the performance. If this car came from the factory like this I could easily see paying $60-$70k just for the performance.

My car is making slightly less power at 8.5 PSI, but it has been to the strip three days now (about 30 runs) and suprisingly the clutch is holding up fine. Best '60 1.79, best ET 12.44, best MPH 113.

Generally 8.5, but test pipes and full exhaust often raises this to 10 PSI.

Tony,

Glad to hear you are enjoying your car. Careful on these damn wet roads

So test pipes and full exhaust will automatically raise the boost level? If so, how can we lower the boost? I want to run it at stock boost (6-6.5 PSI) since I have stock internals. At stock boost is this safe or should rods be replaced at the very least?

Sorry for the off-topic, but what tires/wheels were you running on the drag strip.? Stock LSD or aftermarket? Nice 60ft times...BTW.

Sorry for the off topic post, but I think the guys on this thread can answer this question best.

I currently have a Greddy EVO 2 exhaust and Stillen test pipes. Do you think I will benefit from changing over to an APS exhaust and test pipes when I install my APS TT?

Thanks, and sorry again for the off topic.

Changing test pipe manus will get you nowhere. The exhaust change might net you some but I doubt it's worth it. Spend it on a new radiator or oil cooler...
