Default 350Z + APS TT + Germany Autobahn = Good?

I know the reliablity of the APS TT kit is good in the united states perhaps because the speed limits are set so low. Yes you may of temporary blasts to 100+ mph but probably not every day. I am constantly driving 95+ mph on the autobahn. For example, today on the way to work I was following behind an Audi A8L doing 148 mph for about 15 mins.

Anyone know how the APS TT kit and vehicle would hold up over here in Europe? I am tired of these Mercedes Benz riding my *** from 40 to 150 mph so I was considering a turbo kit.

Cheers!

it will be fine. if you are going to sustain high speed for long durations.. build an oil cooler setup.

Does anyone know of a sandwich adapter that would install in-between the engine and the oil filter in order to run lines to it?

Something like this here: http://www.perma-cool.com/Catalog/Cat_page28.html

Would that create a problem and would they fit?

Thanks!

Just like Phunk says, get a nice set of oil cooler setup, and for additional safety measure, get Koyo Radiator. Oh, and find a way to get rid of the speed limiter. (Don't know TS reflash is going to work on Euro spec Z ECU.)

Then you are good to go tailgating those Porches, BMW's, and Mercedes!

Zcargarage in San Jose fitted a 300zx TT oil cooler with my APS setup. We ran a plastic duct from the side of the FMIC and it routes cool air into the fender well where my Oil Cooler is.

After giving it some thought, I have decided to trade in my 350Z for a 2006 Porsche Carrera 4S.

355 hp + 182 mph + AWD

All for the low low price of $87,100.

To quote one of my favorite Jim Carrey movies... "get a load of the butt on that!"

What would you recommend? An Air to Oil or Water to Oil Cooler?

Also, to the thread starter... I run my Z up to 130-140 daily and usually cruise 100 mph all day (1 hour bursts). Of course I am NA but I think with a boosted Z you will be fine. Perhaps a more robust radiator, thermostat, and oil cooler will help but I dont think they should be necessary. On a side note, do you listen to Rammstein or Megaherz?

funny, i just posted this over in another thread:

http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/mocal.htm

and this (16 row version)

http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/Pro...p?Product=1210

Besides the obvious cooling advantage, you'll get larger oil capacity. Between the larger pan included with the aps, and the lines and cooler, we should get an extra 2 quarts in the system. ought to make a good bit of difference.
