Default my idea on engine management

Hey guys what's up? This ia actaully my first post here, but I have been around for a while. Here's the deal:
I am going to be turboing my Z this summer. I have all the details worked out except one thing. Now I know this is a common problem. I really wanted to stay away from the emanage route if possible, but it's not looking good. This is what I was thinking. What if I would use a J&S safegaurd to control timing and the completely unhook the injectors and use something like a Megasquirt of 034efi unit to control my injectors.
Would this work? What would i need to put in for a resister on the stock injector wires to keep everything happy. Would I still need some way to clamp the volts on the MAF? Let me know your thoughts and what problems could arise.

I just want the best solution to the engine management problem. Or would the emanage be safe up to 600whp? That's what I am shooting for. That is with a forged motor.

Why reinvent the wheel.

If you are building a forged motor just pick someone who has the performance you are interested in and copy their setup. I am pretty sure no one here minds being copied.
