Default aftermarket transmission?

I know this is probably a dead end, but are there any aftermarket transmissions or anyone who does transmission work that can make each gear longer - especially the first 2 or 3?

lowering the final drive to the 3.3 I'm guessing only does so much. Is there a way to get a milder 1-3rd gear in the transmission?

I'd call around to various aftermarket high-end transmission shops first. It won't be cheap but someone out there may have a solution for you as far as different gear ratios go.

On a side note, and this is extreme, if the bell housing on the stock Z tranny is removable, an adapter COULD be made which would allow you to mount up any transmission you'd like. Of course a custom throw-out bearing and maybe even a pressure plate/clutch may be needed. All depends on how deep you want to go. Good luck!

350EVO said in another thread that they could do it. PM BJ and see what he quotes you.
