Default Drive train warranty

I think my syncro for third gear is messed up. It seems like everytime I go in the upper r.p.m. range in second gear and go make my shift into third it grinds. What are the odds the dealer will honor the nissan 60 month/60,000 drive train waranty with the T-netics kit? What I am worried about is the dealer saying that it is from abuse or the tranny is not made to handle the extra power.

Honestly its going to come down to how cool the dealer is. Technically a synchro cannt be damaged by the extra power. It would be the actual gear itself that would be damaged. If you can find a mod friendly dealer you shouldn't have a problem. If they refuse because of the turbo kit and it is in fact a synchro issue you could fight them on it.
