............

350z's do NOT come stock from factory with a TT, so obviously a customer put on the TT and traded it to the dealership. And as for how much HP, it all depends on turbo kit, how much boost, and other mods... If there is warranty on the Z even with a TT, then that would be cool. Check what TT it is.

+1

Check what TT it is and what other mods it has done. Make sure that whatever kit it is that it has all the required components to make the kit safe.

I personally wouldn't buy a used TT Z, because there are so many variances and you have no idea in what shape the internals are, and you don't know when he added some safety features (if he even added them). The engine has been probably abused... I don't think anybody would install a TT on their engine and then babysit the car and never push it, that would be just a waste of a TT. Of course people babysit their cars, but they do occassionally drive it hard as well. Also, the warranty on the car would more than likely be voided.

Nissan does not produce ANY turbod 350z... but dealerships often will be more leanient if you purchase the Turbo or SC kit through the dealer and have their mechanics install it. (This is if you do not want to void your warranty.) This way the dealerships will sometimes keep your warranty.

If you can get a 350Z TT with a "certified pre-owned warranty" which is found on many dealer-bought used cars, that would be ****ing awesome.

Oh yeah, and WHO THE HELL trades their modded Z to a dealer? They are going to give you zero for the mods, and like 80% or worse than trade-in blue book.

Z2000, yep, better off trying to find a customer that wants a 350Z already TT'd.

And I agree with everything else.

I'd do a compression test on each piston before i'd buy it though.

Hey, I drive like Miss Daisy and baby the TT . . . but that's because I created a show vehicle. I drive it on the weekends and on occasion, I get a few spirited runs in . . . Since its not built, I try to stay off of it. Thus far, she's 2 for 2 (Best of Show in both) and did not receive a single bid (ended today)! I had a starting price at $30,500, no reserve, and it only gave me 70 "watchers" and 11K+ hits on Ebay.

Needless to say, I have several counter offers to entertain, but I will not consider offers less than $30K. Oh well, I'm in no hurry to sell her

Believe it or not: I know of THREE cars here in Vegas that the dealership installed Greddy TT kits on. They were all purchased online and installed by certified mechanics for lack of a better place to take your car. Two people I have spoen to in person. Both have FULL factory warrenty with install listed in system and CarFax reports.

What does it mean? Nothing. Just sharing...

Ya say i TT'd my car, then traded it into Nissan dealership, most likely if they sold that car to someone else it would have warranty on it.

I was under the impression that its the servicing dealers option to warranty a modified vehicle. Let's say the dealership above sold the TT 350Z to someone out of the area. If it needs service, the new owner will obviously take it to the local dealer. Doesn't that local dealer have the option to warranty it or not?
