What kind of FI do you have? I have seen very good numbers from this set-up on a Vortech s/c Z and a HKS s/c Z....

I was hoping that raceredi would already have results per the title. Anxiously awaiting the results though.

It will be interesting I would guess 20+ HP? On another but similar note, the shop I go to said that some are doing methanol injection, they just install a small reserviour and have it injected based on boost and that it helps keep the cylinders cool and add HP, anyone with info on that?

I have the Stillen Stage III S/C so would this Nitrous Kit work with my S/C or is it just for Turbo intercoolers? I want Nitrous, but I am CONFUSED about how to use it with my S/C..... I have read ALL of the info in the Nitrous section and I am STILL confused. Can someone PLEASE reccomend the proper product in my situation.......

You can use nitrous 2 ways as a power adder or as a cooling adjent. Or you can inhale it and feel GOOOOOOOOD

okay guys let me say this is def. and win/lose moment...i was at 368whp to 442whp with the nos sprayer all i could say is wow!!! but was the win ...now the lose.....the gains are soo high because its all that nos going into the dual intakes the greddy kit has, so it was so lean it was almost scarey so now its to for some thinking on what to do about this

Thats been discussed easily 1,000 times here. Everyone pretty much agrees the gain you see from the "intercooler sprayer" are primarily a result of essentially running a dry shot on top of your boost. This is BAD news. Go lean...go boom....

Default Dry Shot!

Trevor - It's the dry nitrous being sucked into your intake(s) that's really giving U the power increase, IMHO. In the July issue of Sport Compact Car there's a Vortech equipped G35 using the NX N-tercooler & his dyno sheets show a gain of almost 75 hp & ft/lbs of torque when spraying!! Hard to believe that's coming just from cooling the intake charge.
As for CO2, it's used both as an extinguishing agent ( for electrical fires ) but also in welding ( where it acts much like nitrous - as an oxidizer ). I THINK it would be safer than nitrous for the FMIC use because it's not as effective an oxidizer as nitrous but I'd certainly keep an eye on my AFR.
Someone else is trying to use methanol & a windshield washer reservoir for spraying their FMIC. Haven't seen any results on that yet but it certainly sounds promising & safe, IMHO.

BLN - U might try a PM to 2003z over in Hotlanta. I think he's also running a Stage 3 but w/nitrous. He's even got some dyno sheets around here somewhere but I can't find them!
Do U ever go to the Louisiana Z-car club meets @ George's ( on Essen/Staring Lane ). My first choice was a Stillen but I'm gonna end up with my Vortech installed this summer. I have a ZEX kit for the time being but I'd like a ride in your machine if possible!

The G35 was tuned right here in SJ by Z car garage in the July issue of Sport Compact Car. I've seen the Dyno it is 70+ hp. The question of the Dry shot seems possible to me. So if you Tune around that I guess your Okay? Co2 sounds safe as far as what ive read.
