Default more info in the ultimate-racing turbo kit

Thanks for checking in. We've actually done quite well with our Z. You've probably noticed our recent dyno chart on the website. Our prototype TT kit is done. We have been using the HKS FCON V-Pro Standalone ECU and it's working amazing! We wouldn't want to tune a Z without it! We were just getting too frustrated trying to piggyback the stock ECU, so we decided to get rid of it. Well sort of. The HKS FCON is a FULL standalone but it can actually retain the factory ECU so that you don't lose nice functions like AC, VDC, etc!

Right now, we will be pulling the kit off of our car to "jig" the pieces for mass production. We will be offering the kit for sale as hardware only kit. Basically, the entire Twin Turbo kit less engine management. This will give customers and shop owners the choice to use whichever engine management THEY are comfortable with, whether it be a full standalone, E-Manage, or the upcoming TurboXS UTEC piggyback.

As most know already, our kit will not be the cheapest kit on the market. In fact, it may actually be the priciest. However, what we can promise, is that it will be the best. Most turbo kits on the market have only engineered it to be efficient at "stock boost" levels, ie. 7-8psi. When boost pressure is increased, the turbocharger(s) fall out of compressor effieciency and eventually begin to blow hot air. The turbocharger itself will be overworked and will eventually fail. The custom turbochargers included in our kit will run 7-28psi without falling off the compressor map! That kind of range will pretty much support any enthusiast out there. From the customer that wants 400+whp with 7psi, to the enthusiast that wants 800+whp with 28psi!

The price of the kit is targetted at $8500.00 USD with no management. This includes the entire Twin Turbo Kit (including a test-pipe/high-flow cat, and Y-Pipe section of the exhaust), as well as the full fuel system with 600cc fast reacting fuel injectors, custom fuel pump, and return line system.

For customers that wish to have the kit installed and tuned here with HKS FCON, expect to pay $13,500 USD completely installed, tuned with the FCON on our dyno.

13,500 installed and tuned with a VPro, test pipes, injectors (the right size) and return. That is actually not TOO bad. I would have to see pics and know what makes it stand out to really know.

Well I had my Vortech tuner kit installed at Ultimate and have had a few issues with the install. I am not knocking them so much as saying that I feel I overpaid for the install based on the issues and follow-up costs that I have had to deal with. They haven't been looking to address any of these issues which are based on their install work...something I would expect for these prices.

My 2 cents...
