[QUOTE=luanda]My installer actually repositioned the location of the BOV to allow it route back into the intake. Made things very quiet, and I think this will more emissions-test friendly.

id like to see that if you got any pics.

Unfortunately I would have to remove the bumper. This is located in the lower driver's side right in the corner.

If the bumper has to come off, I will try and remember to take some pics.

So they put a plate on the bov stock location and put the bov on the drivers side? (other side of intercooler?)

I wasn't there for the install. I think they actually welded shut the bov stock location by slicing a piece of the piping out from the driver side, slicing out the bov portion on the passenger side, and rewelding the two in the opposite location. The bov outlet is now facing up on the driver's side. They then fashioned a similar fitting on the intake, on the driver's side facing down directly above the newly relocated BOV outlet. They then joined the two with some plastic hosting, about 3-4 inches.

Couldnt you just have a block off plate made to plug the stock location (similar to the SRT-4s who relocate theirs) and just buy the flange for whatever BOV you want and then reweld it in place wherever you want it?

So if I understand this thread correctly... The stock Vortech unit has an undesirable BOV 'noise' after you let off of the gas. This filter is something that you clamp over a part of the BOV to help reduce this noise?

Is that kind of close?

My blower is ordered on Friday. I just want to make sure my shopping list is complete... S/C, wide band, boost, fuel pressure gauges, gauge pod, 1 step colder plugs, gates belt, and now this filter... anything else I'm missing?

Sharif, send me a PM with a price for this item. Maybe I can acutally meet up with you and say "hi" when I travel the 9 hour journey to CP Racing from Florida next month for my install and tuning.

Not to try to take business from Sharif, but you can get this filter from Auto Zone or Advance Auto for around $19.
