Default Turbonetics w/ Emanage Ultimate & AAM return

I know the ultimate is not for sale yet but would this be a viable option for pushing the limits of the turbonetics kit with the AAM return fuel kit.

would this combination be a more reliable/ higher output option over the TS ECU reflash!!

Not a bad idea. I've been recommending the EU and before that, the regular E, for fine tuning of the Turbonetics kit. The reflash will get you close, but as people start experimenting with different setups and boost levels, its nice to have a fine tuning method in the EU.

Couple it with a complete return fuel system, and we could have some very strong stock block single turbos very shortly.

Sorry if I'm hijacking the thread but, would it be possible to use the EU with the APS ST kit for fine tuning? Would there be any compatiblity problems with the Unichip?

How much extra would the return fuel kit be for the Turbonetics? And which one would you couple with on it?

Possible? Yes, I believe you would have to splice the wires after the Unichip though. Doubt it, but it's a waste of money IMO. I'd sell the Unichip and just use an ultimate eManage.

They essentially are incompatable, becuase it would not be appropriate to run two complete piggyack units on more harness.

As Brandon mentioned, your best bet, would be to ditch the Unichip completely, and install the EU. THis assumes, of course, that you have someone in your area that can tune the EU. The good thing is that far more shops can tune an eManage, vs. the Unichip.

THe return fuel system is $999: link here: http://www.forgedinternals.com/store...cat=251&page=1

Sharif, given that the reflash covers the timing aspect for the Turbonetics kit, can you comment on what the benefit of the EU would be vs. the regular e-manage on this kit? You know I'm very likely headed down this road, so I want to make sure I have a good understanding of my options. Thanks!

In addition to timing advance and retard (which you may not need), you also can add and subtract fuel via Injector Pulse Width changes, perform target A/F tuning, adjust fuel trim and enrichment by individual cylinder....several correction maps, and switch to different maps without an e-01 or laptop.

There are seveal other cool features, that I've outlined in the sticky thread on the EU, but these are the quick highlights. So even if you dont use ignition timing control, the EU still gives very precise and accurate fuel enrichment, and several safety corrections as well.

Hope that helps.
