My wife and I got an automatic b/c she can't drive stick and I didn't want her to learn on a new Z. Does anyone know if I can install a Turbo or S/C and still expect my drivetrain to hold up? If not, what's the furthest I can go as far as modding? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

 

There has to be 4+ threads on F/I with 5AT on this first page alone. Look around a little bit, it's been answered quite a few times.

 

and never have had any problems with the trans yeah this question seems to be asked a lot, you can have FI with a AT we have done several installs on the 350Zs and G35s which have been AT using a Vortech supercharger

 

NO problems with my 5AT with Vortech SC. I might suggest you consider having the ECU flashed to increase the rev limit to 7100+. This keeps you from hitting the 6800 rev limit while in the "D" mode.

 

yep thats the route i will take and yea a vortec would be a nice and safe investment
