In regard to Final Drive
Okay I have been looking at cars with similar HP figures (Dodge Viper, Ford GT) to what a 400rwhp Z should be, and I am seeing things like this
Axle/Final Drive Ratio 3.36 / 2.12
Now I might be thrown off by the Axle part of that .. but am I to understand that the Ford GT has a 2.12 Final drive?! Same article has viper as 3.07 / 1.54
Both cars are running 11.7 in the articles (Motortrend)
500 BHP Z, 12.6 with 3.5 Final Drive and weigh (With mods) say 3,400 lbs
500 BHP Viper 11.7 with a 1.54 Final Drive and weigh 3,400 lbs...???
Explain to me how I am reading this wrong.

A crucial part that is missing is the transmisson gearing ratios. A taller final drive doesn't mean much by itself because the tranny gears could be really tall or really short yielding the same top speed when compared to another car with a shorter final drive.
