Default Vortech SC install pictures (request)

Well after spending about an hour or so sorting through 300 some odd threads that came up in a variety of searches, I came to the conclusion that it seems no one has posted a thorough step-by-step install with pictures of a Vortech SC?

I am obviously not in the perfect place for this, seeing as how I drive a G35, but I figured it couldn't be that much different, especially after reading the PDF instructions that Vortech has posted for the install (with minimal pictures I might add).

To get to the point, has there been any post made with in depth install pictures, with a decent how-to? I think everyone could agree that unless you know the Z/G engine bay inside and out, it is hard to understand every step of the instructions given by Vortech.

Any visual aids would obviously be helpful.. I know that there are some pretty hardcore DIY'ers on this board.

Thanks in advance,

Jason

I agree 100%.. I'm in the process of installing the vortech kit on my Z and the instructions are kind of vague. I've never installed any type of F/i before and I'm doing the install myself. For a 19 year old kid, a step by step thread with some pics would be great.

BTW where are you located in florida?

Oh one thing, make sure you get the tap for the oil pan before you start. I got mine at a NAPA.

I keep going back and forth on whether I want to attempt to install this.. I'd like to save the $1500.00 or so for install (plus the 800 mile round trip drive to CPRACE), but it seems like in the long run it may just be worth it to have them do it and be done with it!

I am confident I can install everything, it's the matter of getting the car tuned and actually getting off my *** to do it. If there was a great tuner in my area, with knowledge of the R4 Software I think I would go for it.

I did a DIY install on my car. The instructions are a bit vauge but if you read them a few times they make sense in the end. I did take a few pics as I went along.
Like the others have said if you get stuck shout up and I am sure some one will answer your questions.

I do appreciate everybody wanting to lend a hand.. My biggest thing now, is trying to gather as much information/visual aid to assist the install, so that if I do run into an error, I don't have to rely on someone to find my thread and post in it.

If anyone is willing to post their DIY and pictures, that would be great..
