Default Turbonetics ST Dynoed & A/F graphs!

Alright guys! Here they are. Here are my mods with the T-netics:

UR pulley
Crawford plenum
Stillen headers
Ground wire kit

I'm running with OEM exhaust for now. Fabing the Borla TD sometimes soon.

Let me know what you guys think about the A/F and power. Thanks.

Decent numbers for that kind of dyno, although Ive seen similar on a dyno like that on a pretty much stock car.

Edit-got the psi and a/f's confused. Your making less than the base 8psi, and your a/f's although not "smooth" are pretty safe...why is yor yellow line dyno so much leaner around 5000rpm's? Do you plan on fine tuning it some to your mods?

I'm making 7.5 PSI max. Everything seems to work fine, but don't know why I didn't make full 8 PSI. The yellow line is the first pull and it reads kinda richer than the second pull, again don't know why . I will have to find something to fine tune my car, maybe E Ultimate.

Good deal.

The A/F looks safe, but as Alberto pointed out, its pretty all over the place. You might want to consider a piggyback and have it fine tuned on Dyno. More HP shall be seen.

BTW,
How was the install with the Stillen headers? Any modification? any rubbing?
I will be installing my ST with the current Nismo headers...hopefully I wont have any fitment problems.

My installer told me that there is no modification to fit the headers in. As for rubbing, I have to get under the car to check it out after maybe a week to see if there is any sign of scratch.

I thought headers were not recommended w/ the Turbonetics ST? Also, I noticed that you kept the UR pulley. Is that OK too? Thanks!

Lookin good. I'd love to get a Turbonetics kit with the stock manifolds on this same dyno to see if it spools up much sooner. As said before, the wider diameter of the aftermarket headers is most likely causing the exhaust gasses to move at a slower velocity, thus making spool up time slower.

As far as the AF, I'm not sure why you'd be running so rich. Hmm.. I really wish we could get someone with a totally stock ST kit on this to compare.

CP should be fine with this kit. I think I might keep mine on when it arrives. And you can run aftermarket headers, but they arent as strong as the stock units, and shouldnt be able to withstand so much heat for as long, but only time will tell, its not like they would crack after a few days or anything. I personally wouldnt run aftermarket headers on this kit, all the dyno's with headers seem to be just as high if not lower for some reason than the stock ones. Its at least fair to say that there has been no eveidence to suggest aftermarket headers are making power on this kit, with the stock tune.

that would make sense... I thought most of the other turbonetics installs were getting full boost earlier in the RPM range

Allright! I will spend some money to take off the after market headers and put the stocks back on and re-dyno. Anyone would like to chip in ?

Seems just like mine, dipping into the 10's for A/F. But hopefully with the Emanage Ultimate we shall fix that

I'm doing the same this fall. I'll definitely be posting before/after graphs. I'm going to be jet hot coating the stockers, and also header wrapping as much piping as possible whilst its broken down.

True. But I would suspect high-end hp will suffer?

I would like to see stock vs aftermarket header on the same dyno as well.

Possibly. However, I'm hitting lower top end hp on the dyno right now than others running stock manifolds. I'm guessing the stock manifolds with jet hot coating will give me some great gains both hp wise and boost threshold wise.

Oh, and I really like those dyno dynamics graphs. I might see if anyone around here has one and get some runs in. I'm mostly interested in that AF/Boost graph.
