the first number at 11 psi was the base run before anything was tuned. I guess it hit 11 psi because of the non restricted air flow.
Obviously I do not want to drive this at 11 psi on a stock engine so they tuned it down to 8.5 psi and tuned accordingly ending up at the 445.
Unfortunately I did not get A/F readings.
I'm going to go to a different dyno in the next few weeks with them and will get those numbers.
I drove the car some more last night and it's just so awesome.
Thursday it's off to Irwindale to run some 1/8's

I'm glad to see you're happy Tom. Your car definitely came out excellent. Ed was very impressed when he finished tuning it. Thanks for the good review, we really appreciate it

congrats on the kit, i also hate your guts. how are the stock 245s holding that much hp??? id think you would be spinning them like crazy... joe managed to get rubber at around 90 out of his 275 toyos! glad you got so much power, now all i need to do is land that job at UBS and im set.

nice numbers but no A/F makes it kinda hard to determine if they are leaning it out to get more power. but all in all i would like to know more about how they tune via the plug in play adapter. Our CAN powered ECU's are difficult to mess with not even the chip tuners out there are fully utilizing and or understanding the chip programing proccess for the vq. to my understanding its about 80 percent cracked with half the actual tuning functions.

So the way I understand it, that would meen you are really sitting at 356-365whp with a 18-20% drive train loss.
Now before everyone gets there panties in a bunch and says something smart about how I am hating on APS cause I have Turbonetics ST.....dont go there. These are some great numbers and I am not trying to take anything away from that fact. I guess I am the only one that saw that at the top of the chart.
Anyhow, great numbers man. I know you have to have a perm a grin from the boost!!

i doubt they took the motor out and did it on an engine dyno. isnt that the only way to get true engine numbers?

Probably not, but I wonder if they add 12% to the real number so it is comparable to dyno jets numbers. Some shops will do that. If so that would put him at 400whp.
The only thing I don't understand is that if APS does not recommend going over 400whp on stock internals, why do all their authorized dealers keep tuning kits to 420-460whp?

Actually according to the DTS dyno website this dyno measures the power and torque on the Engine by having the ability to measure drivetrain loss first then add that back in to get flywheel #. The 445hp is probably hp at the flywheel. Here is link to the dyno website: http://www.dtsaust.com.au
Either way those are some great numbers and congrats mrtomcat. I know you are smiling ear to ear with this
