Actually, the margin is alot less then you might think because of the price of these HKS mufflers. Then take into account the price for mandrel bent 3" stainless(which by the way is subjected to weekly varying surcharges) and then the fact that it is hand crafted and TIG welded here in the states, I dont think we are going to get rich selling these anytime soon

whatever floats your boat. not my style especially on my g35 but I think this would look very good on a color such as silver and black wheels(on a 350z) that is. Probably pretty good gains with this but I couldn't give up the sleeper look from the back of my borla td. The front with the greddy bumper not so sleeper. Keep up the good work Turbo Tim and keep the products rolling out.

I like the way it looks. Any shots from exhaust level straight back. Also anything to bring the cost down a bit. ie different piping etc???

thanks

Are there any vids/sound clips of your other exhaust (two Borla mufflers and straight tips) that are of an otherwise-stock 350Z? (Sorry about jacking the thread, on topic, wish you could have gotten away from angled tips) Thanks.

FYI I have this same system on my car done by a custom muffler shop. Those mufflers are $260 a piece, yes, for the full sized ones. So I do know what it costs for a system like this, mandrel bent w/ stainless steel.

I just don't get it.. this is like crawford's cats... They are just testpipes w/ carsound magnaflow cat's welded in place for over $400.

It would look better with just a single outlet.

Slanted mufflers dont look that good when its x 2 IMO.

$260 a piece.Damn you are getting a pretty good deal If you search the net, the cheapest you can find them for is about $325-350.So our price is what it is.If people do not like the system or think it is priced too high then they wont buy it.

Search the 'net? Thats the worst place to buy this stuff.... You guys of all people if you are making a system out of these you should be able to buy them in bulk and get them even cheaper!

I said that because the typical enthusiaist will search the net and find it for the lowest cost and then buy it.If your this person, then you are going to be spending some bucks for it.Then finding a good exhaust shop that will use stainless mandrel bends and TIG weld it together and dont forget having the flanges waterjetted or plasma cut,etc........ and put this whole system together for under $1695......is going to be hard to find.To sum it up.this is what we will be charging. After everything is said and done we are still not making much money on the system. If we can sell alot of these then the price might drop eventually.Take care.

Yeah right... Show me where the larger ones are 260$ a piece, and don't forget shipping . You can't touch them for less then 300$.

Well my Z is black with black rims, black grilll (have to hide the intercooler from the Smog *****) blacked out lights and dark tinted windows. In my opinion, there is nothing else that comes close to the looks or sound of this exhaust. The SFR exhaust is definitely not for everyone I like it alot though. I am sure some people have noticed.....We have built our company around fabricating high qaulity products. It might cost a little more but it will be the best money can buy.

i get the mufflers for 257 but ya know what the product is excellent quality and they take their time to bring something to us that noone else has. for the extra couple of extra hundred bucks ill be willing to pay. everybody want the lowest price if ya dont have the money then dont worry about the exhaust and take the time you need to go get one made for yourself. buy something for the quality and craftsmanship not because its the cheapest, anybody can give crap away. whew i feel better now

Exactly. Im willing to spend extra on something that i can take pride in and know that it was built with high quality in mind and not just pumping out a product as fast as possible.
